About me

I’m David, a Senior Java Developer with more than 15 years of experience, most of it on e-commerce platforms (Intershop, Solr, Oracle/MSSQL) for European clients such as G-Star RAW, Wolters Kluwer NL and Coop.

I live in Cantabria, Spain, and work remotely. Away from the keyboard I like building things with my hands: my latest project is a 5.28 kWp solar porch with DIY batteries controlled with Home Assistant, which I document with real numbers in the Solar Home series (in Spanish).

To learn more about my background, see my experience or my resume. And if you’d like to talk, get in touch via the contact page.
